No need to get wet, stay dry in Matagorda's largest custom flounder boat. Watch the Texas bay floor come to life under the powerful LED lights at night. Trout, reds, flounder, sheepshead, stingray, mullet, needle fish, black drum, croaker, crabs, shrimp, and aligator gar are seen in large numbers. Try your aim at a flounder with our gigs or bring your bow. We can comfortably handle croups up to six persons. Captain Mark was the first flounder guide in Matagorda. He has been professionally guiding for over 30 years and will ensure your trip is enjoyable, knowledgable and productive. Customers from 5 to 95 years old have stuck flounder with Talasek Guide Service.

About the Trip:
Trips typically leave Matagorda Harbor 30 minutes before dark and last 3 to 6 hours, or until limits of flounder are reached. Bring a cooler for drinks/alcohol and to put your flounder in once the captain cuts off the heads. Tips (10% - 20%) are customary and always appreciated. Captain Mark always works hard to see that you enjoy your trip.
